We specialise in bridal gown alterations and mens tailoring. We are also happy to alter your bridal party outfits including Bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, mother of the bride or groom etc. We do also offer general alterations where appointments permit.

We offer a highly specialised, bespoke service. No bride or dress requirements are the same which is why alterations are usually a necessity in order to get the perfect fit. It is therefore challenging to give a quote before seeing you or the dress. Our typical alterations costs are between £300 and £600. At your first appointment we will assess your requirements and give you your quote before we begin any work.

We recommend booking your first appointment with us as soon as you have your wedding date. We begin alterations between 10-8 weeks before your wedding date therefore securing your first fit is really important. You can either book your first fitting at the 10-8 week point or if you prefer you can book in earlier to discuss your needs and devise a plan with us. All follow up fittings and your collection date will be booked together with us at your first fitting.

At your first fitting we will begin pinning, so we need you to be wearing the gown as you would on your wedding day. That means any shape wear/bra/specific underwear should be worn as well as the shoes you intend to wear. We cannot ensure the hem length of the gown is accurate unless you are wearing the correct shoes.

Yes! We do recommend only bringing 1 or 2 people to you your fittings due to the space in the studio. We also recommend, where possible, not to bring small children - this is to ensure you, and we, can give you and your gown our complete attention. We understand many brides undertake a weight loss journey before their wedding. We can absolutely accommodate this however communication is vital. Once we know your plan, we can organise fittings to suit your timeframe. Please note that any weight loss following completion and collection of your gown may result in further alterations and therefore further cost.
